The case against junk miles
Volume without intent is the most expensive mistake an amateur runner makes. Here's how I decide which kilometers earn their place on your plan.

Endurance coach · Lyon · Taking athletes for Spring 2026
Swim & run coaching, grounded in kinesiology.
I help recreational to sub-elite athletes swim smoother and run further without breaking down. Sessions are built from video analysis, physiology, and the patience of a ten-year age-group swimmer.

I grew up on the blocks at CN Lyon before switching to trail running at 19. A stress fracture taught me that the body is a system — no split is worth breaking. I trained as a kinesiologist at the University of Lyon 1 to fix that gap for the athletes I work with.
My coaching is opinionated: fewer sessions, cleaner technique, honest recovery. I won't write you a 14-hour block if 9 well-placed hours will do. Expect video, data, and conversations — not magic.
Outside coaching I'm usually in open water, reading physiology papers, or convincing my dog a tempo run is fun.

Start with a free discovery call — it's the only way to know if we fit.
A call to understand your goals, injury history and schedule. We decide together if I'm the right coach for you.
Pool session filmed above and below water. You leave with annotated footage and three specific drills for the next two weeks.
Treadmill + trail video, cadence and ground contact review. Includes a written report with strength work.
Custom weekly plan, unlimited messages, one video review per week. Capped at 12 athletes so I actually know you.
Structured protocol after injury — bridges physio discharge to full training. Requires a medical clearance.
Brands and platforms I use and trust in my own training and with the athletes I coach.
I race what I coach. These are mine, for context — not for bragging.
“I dropped 12 seconds per 100m in eight weeks with Antoine. What I liked most is that he explained *why* — so I can keep improving on my own.”
“Post-stress-fracture I thought I was done. Antoine built a ramp that respected my physio's constraints and got me to the UTMB start line.”
“Honest, precise, a little stubborn. Exactly what I needed after years of copying plans from YouTube.”
“First marathon, 3h42, zero injury. Antoine's plans are lighter than what I expected and twice as effective.”
Press, podcasts and platforms that have covered my work.
Week of 14 April 2026. Reach out by WhatsApp or phone if a slot works for you — I'll confirm in person.
A lighter look at how I coach. Drills, technique fixes, the occasional rant.
Short writing on how I think about training — so you know what you'd be signing up for.

Most swimmers chase 'a high elbow' and end up with sore shoulders. Here's the anatomy behind a catch that actually moves water.
Ten minutes of leg swings isn't a warmup. Here's the three-phase protocol I put in front of every hard session.
'Run at 180 spm' became folk wisdom. The truth is more useful and slightly more annoying.
A free 30-minute discovery call. I ask about your goals, history, and schedule; you ask me anything. We decide together if we fit. No pressure — plenty of coaches do this better than I do for some athletes.
Yes — monthly coaching is fully remote. You get a weekly plan, unlimited messages, and one video review per week. Swim video analysis and gait assessments require one in-person session in Lyon or Annecy first.
No. Most of my athletes are recreational or age-group. I cap myself at twelve people so I can actually know each one. What I ask is commitment — to the plan, to the rest days, to honest check-ins.
We adjust. I trained as a kinesiologist exactly because injury is part of endurance coaching. Return-to-sport is a service I run specifically for the bridge from physio discharge to full training.
SEPA transfer or card. Monthly coaching runs on the 1st of each month; single sessions are paid on the day. No long contracts — you can stop any month.
The first call is free and usually decides everything. Pick a time, tell me what you want, we'll go from there.
