##Event flow and structure
This session focuses on a structured 5k run starting and ending at Flagey. We begin with a group warm-up to prepare your muscles and joints for the distance. The run is divided into three segments: an initial 1k to establish your baseline pace, a 3k middle block where we focus on maintaining consistent rhythm and efficiency on the course, and a final 1k recovery phase. Following the run, we transition into a social segment featuring music from a DJ to help you unwind and discuss training goals in a relaxed environment.
##Who this is for
This session is for runners who have a consistent training habit and are looking to add a social, structured event to their weekly routine. It is suitable for those comfortable with the 5k distance who want to track their performance progress. This event is not intended for absolute beginners who have not yet established a running baseline or those looking for high-intensity interval racing.
##What you will leave with
Participants will leave with a clear assessment of their current 5k pacing and movement efficiency. You will receive direct feedback on your running form to help you manage your effort across the duration of the run. You will also leave with a better understanding of how to integrate this type of group effort into your weekly training program to maintain consistent development and recovery.
##Coach context
I run these sessions because I believe that performance is built through a combination of focused, data-driven work and a supportive community. In Brussels, many athletes have the drive to improve their endurance but struggle to find the right balance between intensity and recovery. My role is to provide the structure needed to make your training sessions purposeful, while creating an environment where you can connect with other athletes to support your long-term progress.
