SUMMARY:Weightlifting foundations and technique workshop
DESCRIPTION:Event flow and structure\n\nThis workshop provides a systematic approach to weightlifting basics. We begin with a group movement assessment to identify individual technical needs. The session is divided into three parts: a 30-minute warm-up focused on mobility and joint preparation\, a 60-minute technical block where we break down specific lifts like the squat\, deadlift\, or press\, and a 30-minute concluding phase where we apply these techniques to controlled sets with appropriate loading. I monitor each participant throughout the session to provide immediate feedback on form and ensure safety.\n\nWho this is for\n\nThis workshop is designed for individuals who have some experience with resistance training but want to refine their technique under professional supervision. It is suitable for those looking for a structured environment to build confidence with barbell movements. It is not intended for absolute beginners who have never engaged in strength training or for competitive powerlifters looking for advanced programming\, as our focus here is on fundamental movement quality.\n\nWhat you will leave with\n\nParticipants will leave with a clear understanding of their current movement patterns and the technical adjustments needed to improve their lifting efficiency. You will receive concrete cues to help you execute movements safely and effectively. You will also leave with a baseline assessment that can be used to inform your future strength programming and ensure you are working toward your goals with the correct foundation.\n\nCoach context\n\nI run this workshop because I see many athletes in Brussels who are eager to increase their strength but lack the technical oversight required to perform lifts safely. My approach is to strip back the complexity of weightlifting and focus on the mechanics. By providing a structured\, data-informed environment\, I help you bridge the gap between irregular training and a consistent\, high-quality lifting program.\n\nWhat to bring:\nFlat-soled shoes\nComfortable training clothes\nWater bottle\nTraining notebook to record cues
